PRG Community Garden

The Powis Residents Group (PRG) have a community vegetable garden located at the rear of Powis Community Centre where traditional fruit and vegetables are grown.

The group have been running several community initiatives such as tree and bulb planting, recycling, composting, kids gardening lessons, taking part in environmental competitions and many more.

PRG have also managed to secure funding for projects from Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeen Greenspace Trust Ltd and have many more projects planned for the community in the future. PRG also run regular community clean up days and use lots of recycling material for garden projects.
